I found several very high quality developers at several levels in 2007. This is probably my biggest failure for 2007.

But the biggest surprise to many of the big players will be the introduction of new startups with extremely POWERFUL webservices and OPEN APIs at a FRACTION of the cost of the big boys. I believe it will begin to move Games into the learning world as a legitimate learning tool.

Forterra Systems OLIVE (On-Line Interactive Virtual Environment) platform was compared to Second Life and won three of the four application categories (best for Education,Enterprise, Training / Simulation), with Second Life winning forBrands/Marketing in votes by the audience. where I am linking to all the Lewin stuff I find.
