I am running into a new issue in Captivate 2017 64-bit on Win10, and I am beginning to think that it’s not something foolish that I am overlooking. The project is HTML5. I am working on a final project for an ID class and am working on trying out new and more advanced approaches. This works brilliantly.

For SWF output you had the choice: it was possible to change the default setting which was to have a movie playing automatically after loading. The button looks like this (but originally one is smaller, 96×96), black arrow in black circle with transparent background: Such a button will not always blend well in the design of your project.

Recently one of my colleagues upgraded Captivate to the latest release, 10.0.1.285, and since then whenever she publishes to HTML5 and then launches the index file the project starts and pauses on a blank slide that is NOT part of the project.

I am at the end stage of a 3 module Captivate project. However, when we try to play the file, the “hour glass” does not change to open the project. I then opened the project in Captivate 2017 and republished. I am using Captivate 9. I successfully published and sent to my university intranet.

Using Captivate 2017 – I imported a PowerPoint with Animations, and now have added audio voice-over, but when I publish the project as HTML5 – for some reason I’m losing the PowerPoint animations. How can I fix this? Why would audio have effected this?

Hello, I have created an interactive project in Captivate 2017 and it plays fine locally from the Index file, however when we load it onto our SalesConnect platform (which does play other html5 interactive programs) we just get a spinning icon which never fully loads.

I have a simple Captivate (Release 2017) project with several slides that contain images. All images are.jpeg. On six of the slides the images display when performing an HTML5 Browser view, but they do NOT display in LMS. I tried deleting the graphics and then re-adding. That did not work.

I published a project in Captivate 8 last week and had this issue and am having the same problem with Captivate 2017 today. Has anyone had an issue with their audio not playing in HTML5 in preview and when published? But when you click the Rewind button, the audio will play? When I publish as a.swf, the audio plays just fine.

To start this off; Animations in my non-responsive captivate project do not seem to play correctly when publishing my project with only the HTML5 format. Project is definitely published as only HTML5 as its a requirement for this project. Even things as simple as moving an svg from right to left a short distance over a 1.6
