From the  Welcome  screen, select  From Microsoft PowerPoint , open the PowerPoint presentation and a few clicks later, the presentation will be reborn as a Captivate project. During a standard PowerPoint import process, PowerPoint pptx presentations are first converted to the ppt format, and then converted to SWF.
