To work around it, I used Adobe Soundbooth CS4 to record the narration. WAV file, but Captivate would not load it into the slide. Captivate imported the new format without any problems. WAV file was 687 MB, while the *.MP3 I first tried saving the narration as a *.WAV In addition, the *.WAV

I cleaned up the audio by boosting the sound a bit and speeding it slightly up. When saved, it was automatically updated in the Captivate library. SBST), thus did not update in Captivate. It brings up a dialog box asking if I want Kate or Paul's voice.
