But, I could quickly link to the sites to find out more and finally recommended that they should look at: Articulate Quizmaker allows you to easily create Flash-based quizzes, surveys, and assessments. Im in the weird place of for-profit education, which really has characteristics of both market sectors. about 30% of respondents have graduate degrees in instructional design.

In the context of e-Learning (back then it was just plain old CBT), this meant you had audio/video on the screen with timed text bullets. The learner could listen to the audio if her preferred style was auditory, OR read the text if her preferred style was visual. Im with you. I always tune out the audio and read ahead.

Heres some of what I tried to incorporate in order to (we hope) create an engaging experience: Less is More. I created characters that the learner follows throughout the course. We created three or four mini-games scattered throughout the course to test concepts. Using Audio. I tried to make more effective use of audio.
