Lectora and Lectora Online support adding captions to FLV and MP4 video formats. If your file is not in this format (for example, WMV or AVI), you will need to convert it to MP4. Lectora requires a specially formatted XML file in order to attach captions. The format is HH:MM:SS – Hours:Minutes:Seconds.

For audio, make the appropriate connections with the wireless microphone system and ensure the audio levels are within an acceptable range. You may find that having a still image of the Captivate lesson's interface placed behind the video will help with adjusting the video's settings and placement.

I use it all the time to pull colors from images when I work in PowerPoint. Usually what I do is use Pixie to pick a color from an image (or logo) and then go to the color scheme site to create a color scheme to go with it. I tend to do a lot of image resizing, especially for the blog. Audacity is an open source audio editor.

ALT tags are always published for images and buttons. Video and audio skins are disabled. ALT Tags (object names) are used for images, media, buttons, and hotspots. You can provide text equivalents in Lectora by using ALT tags for images, buttons, and multimedia. ALT Tags are turned off for decorative images.

All three tools have in-built characters but in Captivate, we have Close-up, Half, and Full image options andwe need notcrop the characters. Inserting images is quite simple in these tools.We can scale the images in Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate, but images get blurred on scaling in Lectora. SmartShapes.
