For PPT lovers, you can synch video files with PPT with drag and drop. It enables you to upload PPT onto the iPad and present it to people – on the floor, at a location, etc. You can also connect the iPad PPT to a monitor and show it there. – anything you can do with PPT, but it is seen on the iPad.

As the evolution of e-learning continues, the rapid content authoring tools (RCAT) market follows suit. This is a growing market with new vendors showing up, but at the same time, others disappearing. PowerPoint or Word converted to Flash, instant, virtually no add-ons, i.e. additional learning objects.

Callidus Software acquired Rapid Intake, a great content authoring solution. These guys are always leaders in the authoring tool space, and their mLearning studio rocks – IMO. Next to the demo, is the Vendor’s name, web link and they can have an e-mail connect to a general info box or directly to a salesperson.

is not the only product which has an issue with a 64 bit Windows computer but in combination with PPT 2010, I’m unaware of any other. Spelling – I am always surprised at the number of authoring tools who do not have this feature. who knows, I never got to see it). Great question and no answer. Lectora’s Snap!

Reports – very basic, but this is more a content authoring tool hybrid – which is becoming more prominent in the industry, so the minimal report is equally being seen. E-Mail notifications and reminders. Lots of options. Quiz formats (M/C: single or multiple answer, sequencing, true/false, labeling, pics, etc.).
