The web is abuzz with talk of GoogleBuzz. So what is Buzz – simply put it’s a personal aggregator that is coupled to your Gmail account. Buzz is to email what Wave will eventually be to real-time collaboration around email thread and embedded documents or media. What does buzz do? Let Google do the explaining –.
Now, the deafening GoogleBuzz is here. So, who is Buzz for? Some say Buzz is for Twitter drop-outs. It resides right inside Gmail, requires no separate account, and makes it easy to share your pictures, links, videos and updates with your Gmail contacts.
GoogleBuzz. Google has announced Buzz a new social media service that would be integrated within Gmail. Using Buzz you can connect to the other social media services like Twitter, Picasa, Flickr and Google reader. Related posts: GoogleBuzz in eLearning.
Google’s entry into social networking, Buzz, created quite a bit of buzz last week after its launch. While the service is not necessarily in its final form yet, and certainly not everyone who has tried it likes it, it certainly is not too early to start looking at Buzz as a potential learning environment.
GoogleBuzz , Google Wave and PKM PKM stands for Personal Knowledge Management, which is a definite passion of mine (see Work Literacy and Social Media for Knowledge Workers ). So, here’s what we are already seeing this year. Interesting to me to see that these pop to the top.
