Publishing in Captivate takes your source content and outputs it into a format that can be consumed (viewed) by the learner. As an alternative to publishing a SWF, you can publish as HTML5.

I am publishing to HTML5 and uploading to my LMS server. I have published as both an SWF and an HTML5 and have had no problems playing it as a flash file but of course that create the Youtube issue.
