Rapid eLearning Tools Satisfaction from the eLearningGuild Research reported Feb 2007 - Course Authoring and Rapid eLearning Tool Satisfaction See also Software Simulation Tools. Of course, they were more looking at PPT conversion tools. Page update Mar 2008. I was reminded of the various Brandon Hall shoot-outs.

Since 2008 I have been blogging regularly about Captivate. An “amazing application which is Adobe Captivate” (a quote of a fellow ACP who is not present in this portal) deserves better! Each theme packaged with Captivate has a Theme Colors palette which is labeled with the same name as the theme. A responsive theme with Breakpoint views is not included with Captivate.

It works within PowerPoint so that any one who knows PPT can quickly come up to speed to create a nice looking presentation. The last content authoring tool I choose was Captivate. I will be doing a lot of technology training courses so software simulations are very important. Articulate and Lectora do not do simulations.

All the included themes in Captivate have Fluid Boxes on the master slides (the ‘virgin’ Blank theme has them only on the quiz/score masters). Maybe you’ll have to decrease the minimum font size which is set to 14p (for Breakpoint Views it used to be 10p, still readable on smartphones). Master Slides.
