But, he also linked to a great post: The Individual is the New Group - where he points out that the classic notion of groupware has been falling out of favor and instead the concept of soloware with extension for collaboration (think blog vs. discussion group) is gaining adoption.

A few weeks ago, I posted a summary around the November LCB Big Question "Are ISD / ADDIE / HPT relevant in a world of rapid elearning, faster time-to-performance, and informal learning?": Where are the ISD Gurus in this Discussion? When I think ISD/ADDIE/HPT, I think of Allison Rossett, Harold Stolovich, and Ruth Clark.

In summary, then, we see that enterprise social networking is multifaceted. Same goes for activities and games such as “fun facts” and trivia quizzes. And one thing’s for sure: a traditional project management approach characterised by a hard launch and follow-up training misses the mark. There is no silver bullet.
