More of a surprise is that with the exception of 6 web conferencing vendors, who have apps specifically for the iPad/iPad2 market, you can count on one hand the number of LMS/LCMS vendors that offer the same thing. Integrating an online storage/backup capabilities in a LMS. It is extremely disturbing. I know I would.

Three months ago, only a few systems had either integrated for no additional charge or for additional fees, a talent management/performance management feature set. There is a growing list of vendors, including small/mid size that are adding talent management components that match the Big Dog systems. Ahh, how things have changed.

If you as the customer want to create your own API/Mashup or find one on the net and want to integrate it into your paid LMS, the vendor will charge you.
