I have a real issue with vendors who charge extra – via a license with their “partner&# or otherwise for a web conferencing – and thus ability to offer webinars, in their solution. Ekiga – VOIP and Web Conferencing, HD Quality – nice! It is VOIP, but the people on the other side, do not need VOIP.

If the presenter is using VOIP, then audio is recorded during the presentation, because the audio is coming through the computer’s speakers. Most systems do not record the audio from attendees, even if they are using VOIP, but some do. You have to pay a separate license to use their product. The bridges are not cheap.
