There’s a bunch of grid layouts for adding photography, but you can’t overlay a grid on the slide. There’s also decent text formatting and you can hyperlink both within and outside of the presentation. You can also copy and paste text formatting which is super handy. Slides has most of the same formatting options as PowerPoint.
