Interactive objects can always be scored, and reported to a LMS. To my amazement, software sims with that scoring feature were largely appreciated by my former college students as self-assessments. Those are SWF-based but will be converted to MP4 when publishing to HTML5. They still didn’t like the real exams of course.

InfoSemantics used to have a SWF widget (EventHandler), worked great, but with the EOL of Flash player for all browsers, not so useful anymore. It is not free but if you are plunging really into advanced/shared actions, please try it out because it can add as many events as you want to any object. A trial version is available.

When I tested as preview in the computer it works without an issue but when I publish in htlm5 – the score do not appear- only the name of the variable. that value will later be use in the scenario… so I am doing some testing pages but I can get the variables to work. Hope makes sense or maybe is a easy way to make it ?

The SVG, activated as button, has all the features of shape buttons: can be used on master slides, can be timed for the rest of the project (not in Fluid Boxes), can be added to quiz and score slides as extra button.
