Despite the fact that Jane Hart and I work with one another on togetherLearn , I had never used — or even heard of — VoiceThread, nvu, or Yugma. In spite of some childish hacker-vandals and a few sound issues, each of the three sessions this morning worked.
I use a combination of our school’s learning management system (LMS) but often use external websites such as Polldaddy , Todaysmeet , Padlet , or Voicethread just to make things more interesting and add variety. I provide actual material content in an online textbook along with videos and screencast PowerPoint recordings.

You set up an account at VoiceThread and upload your video, or your pictures, and then either share the link or embed the video in your site.
