Allowing SMEs to work on tool is a certain recipe for disaster. Some of these discussions about tools is similar to the arguments that the main stream media has made about blogs and wikis. This group includes folks from the ADL, IBM, Sun, etc. And I firmly believe I have been adding a lot of value to the design.

Answer: There’s four different Open Source LRSs that I’m aware of: Learning Locker , ADL LRS , lxHive and TinMan. Dr Kirsty Kitto of Queensland University of Technology is Australia, for example, is working on a tool and recipe to that will scrape data from social media sites and convert it into xAPI statements.
