Lectora and Lectora Online support adding captions to FLV and MP4 video formats. If your file is not in this format (for example, WMV or AVI), you will need to convert it to MP4. Audacity is an open source audio editor. I usually record my audio directly in the rapid elearning tools. However, if I have a larger project, then I like to break my production up into chunks and keep my audio separate. Format Factory. Format Factory lets you convert media from one format to another.

So, I took the presentation on The story of the 30-minute masters that I created last week in Articulate and decided to re-create it in a movie format that would work for both YouTube and the iPod (MP4).
