Extensive acceptance of video formats including.mov,mp4. Quiz formats (M/C: single or multiple answer, sequencing, true/false, labeling, pics, etc.). Works in Chrome, Firefox, IE 9 (did not test Safari). Terms “trainer” and “trainee” – these are instructor led terms, not e-learning.
But, the reason I constantly bash this into e-learningvendors heads is this just DON’T GET IT. Offers 3G and the data access is free – no additional charge, unlike a smartphone; plus many offer full Flash capabilities, color screens and the e-ink too – the mainstay. E-Learning 24/7.
But with LMS vendors jumping into the mobile learning sector, at least in some cases, it may be a tad misleading, especially with smartphones. I’m sure they tested with IE, Firefox, Safari and Chrome, but what about Opera Mini? 264, a proprietary format. E-LearningVendors, Giveaways and Drawings.
