The look and feel sort of reminds me of an online magazine. Comes with online/offline synch. This year there are more e-learning vendors than in the past. From soft skills online gaming to learning games on mobile to gaming in some fashion in a LMS or self contained mobile app.

This is not to say that every LMS can do this, nor does it say that what the end user sees is uber-robust, but on the back end the analytical data for many systems can be significant. They see an opportunity in the SMB space where customers may not want to purchase an ERP for HR or a full blown HRIS and then purchase or have a LMS. The downside is that some of the vendors will reduce down their L/D components and focus more on the TM side of things. OpenText purchased Operital, a LMS based in Australia.

Well besides my rankings of course, think about this: 1st vendor to offer collaboration and peer review. 1st vendor to have online/offline mobile synch. 1st vendor IMO to truly have HTML5 output.

With all these vendors talking about their solution and its capabilities on mobile devices, it should be easy to find an app for that. Regardless if the vendor is m-learning specific, content authoring tool, LMS, web conferencing or a hybrid. It works for their Total LMS (Enterprise) and for their Geo Learning Maestro.

The problem though is that many systems fail to recognize the difference makers. You could also find some standards in every LMS (uh, not at the same time of getting gas for a nickel).
