Don’t double compress videos – use uncompressed or lossless formats when compressing to FLV format. Encoding videos to FLV. Before using videos in your Flash project, you would need to encode them in a format compatible with Adobe Flash (FLV or MPEG-4). Supported source formats are: asf, avi, dv, mov, mp4, mpg, mpeg, wmv.

The most important one is Adobe removing restrictions on SWF and FLV/F4V specifications. Opera has released a HTML 5 version (Opera mobile) for Windows Mobile. With their Open Screen Project Adobe is clearly preparing for the upcoming competition from HTML 5. Or they all know HTML 5 will – ultimately.

I have tried multiple file types (mp4 and flv), both input variations (event and synchronized) and multiple flash output versions (10.x I have checked to ensure that my flash player is up-to-date in my browser (IE) also. x), all to no avail. Any ideas as to what may be causing this issue?

Certain media players, or skins, are not accessible. To accomplish this, Lectora enables you to add closed captioning to video (FLV and MP4) and audio files (MP3, FLV, and M4A) within your title. To enable this, you can mark and structure text using the HTML Text Type property. Video and audio skins are disabled.

The latest version, Articulate ’09, has some interesting new features like Single-slide Preview, FLV Support, Easy Audio Editor, and Articulate Branding Removed. In this case, try setting the player template display at an optimal level and avoid scaling (this worked most of the times for us).
