The Professional version is most relevant to online learning as it converts files to wav/.mp3 mp3 formats and comes with two or four voices. SpokenText is an online speech to text synthesizer that converts text files, documents (pdf, doc, ppt) and web pages to audio files. There’s a free version and a paid upgrade.

There are two ways to do this: directly upload an audio file (mp3, wav, etc.), The “Add Presentation/Document” page lets you upload and embed all major business file formats in your course. You can add PowerPoint (ppt, pptx), MS Word (doc, docx), Excel (xls, xlsx), and Adobe PDF (pdf) files.
