I would add Captivate and Jing.man do I use Jing! PPT is among my must haves as well, good for concepts and I have tinkered in Articulate to produce some solid Interactive Job Aids (IJA). Through a fortunate happenstance, I came across Jing : a very simple screencast tool that would incorporate voiceovers. The challenge with the free version of Jing is that you have to keep it to less than 5 minutes of recording.
