To produce the slides and SWF, I used Keynote 08 ( not Keynote 09! ). The “order taker&# meter is a static PNG in three versions (&# order taker,&# midpoint, and “instructional designer&# ). Keynote is a slide editor for the Mac.

The outputs include PDF, SWF, JPG, PNG, SVG, FXG or web files. There is also a Project Rome for Education. Project Rome can be used to produce a variety things including publications, presentations, websites and even animation. I downloaded the Air application, but it can also be used as a web-based service.

In Captivate 9, we can import only these image (Shift+Ctrl+M) formats: JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, ICO, EMF, WMF, POT, POTX, and PICT. PNG: (Portable Network Graphics) It is better than JPEG and supports binary transparency and alpha channel transparency. Video (Ctrl+Alt+V) formats include SWF, FLV, F4V, AVI, MP4, MOV, and 3GP.
