In a recent blog post published by the New York Times , Anna North noted that the concept of “learningstyles” is still prevalent among educators, even though there is little empirical research to support it. In fact, students preparing to be teachers are often taught about “learningstyles” in their courses.
The MBA is fine, but you have to have experience and education (formal, certification or informal) in learningtheory and learning design. I see the MBA remark as a metaphor: in the corporate world, youre not a learning academic. This type of learning is not rewarded, and is somehow viewed as not valid.
