We have had a great time with participants taking them through the changes of what is new (and very cool) in the new Articulate 360 subscription. 2004 (4 th edition) or AICC compatible, and upload it to your LMS for distribution and tracking. Immediately, I was directed to my own dedicated area of the LMS and presented with friendly “getting started” video tutorials to learn about key concepts and features before giving them a try. You recorded the screen, could change the screen size – as in full capture, a part, window, etc. I’m not overly sold on HD for online tutorials. So, why isn’t this an important feature set, since a lot of people have flash tutorials and flash video files? Take Techsmith’s latest version of Camtasia.

While there are many tools available, it is advisable to choose one that supports e-learning content standards such as SCORM , AICC and CBT. Ideally, the vendor would include training resources such as tutorials, articles, guides and online webinars to demonstrate how to use the tool effectively.

In 2010, the RCAT market continued its upswing and nothing indicates to me it will be changing anytime soon. Also SCORM 1.2 & AICC. Content Authoring tools that offer their own LMS – albeit it is a lite version, which only accepts their content authoring tool courses. LMS, web, CD, etc., ADL SCORM 2004 CERTIFIED.
