The new iSpring Pro 7 – currently in beta adds additional powerhouse features, including PPT to HTML5 output (which right now is a standalone product). #8 and SCORM/AICC. While their Slideshark app for the iPad is nifty, it is not the only product that showcases PPT and is free.

AICC/SCORM, SCORM 1.2, Uses a PowerPoint like layout, albeit it shows a hierarchy approach which many people will like – so if you think this is nothing more than PPT in appearance – trust me it is not. Now, it seems they finally got it. Features I like include: HTML5 output. Avatars/Actors/Templates.

Some people might convert their PPT to a video (it can be done) OR they have that production facility and shoot their own high quality videos OR they purchase 3rd party content video courses. Another super example of the video dilemma goes back to the sharing of video with friends, posting it on sites and so on.

PowerPoint still reigns – If you are a course purist, the idea that PPT should be seen as an authoring tool should make you grumble with disgust. . Yes, you can use it for many different things, and yes, Microsoft has an add-on that turns PPT into something similar to Adobe Presenter. PowerPoint is presentation software.
