If youve been reading my blog for awhile, you know that Ive been really into the whole topics of gamers -- who is, who isnt, and should we even use that term? that sparked a good conversation.

But the big question is, what virtual classroom software is right for your goals? What happens to the content generated in the room (chats, polls, etc.)? For GoTo, polls are populated in slides. They allow you to minimize certain features (like chats) or introduce polls separate from the presentation. Demo started?

And then you just edit that stuff out in the post production and it’s, it makes a great video and you maintain the eye contact or attention with all that editing, but you don’t have to like edit as you go. The second half of the prediction “self directed learning” got less attention during the year than I anticipated, but it was there and certainly was a big part of the discussion around social and informal learning. We even made the Big Question one month: New Presenter and Learner Skills and Methods.

Till a few years ago, the impact of gamification -based training had a big question mark associated with it. Today’s learners do not have the patience or the attention span to go through learning that is generic and doesn’t map to what they are looking for. I see an increased adoption of microlearning in 2019.
