Behavioral objectives got another boost when in 1956, Bloomberg Benjamin and his colleagues developed the “Taxonomy of EducationalObjectives”. He identified three principal domains of learning: Cognitive (what one knows or thinks), Psychomotor (what one does, physically) and Affective (what one feels, or what attitudes one has).
Using Bloom’s Taxonomy, the team applied knowledge skills and attitude learning objectives to each page of a course. While it’s quite region specific whether employees have mobile devices, there are diagnostic laptops with internet connection in every workshop. These were then grouped into small modules on a certain subject.

In essence, they argued that — used properly — the (at the time) new tools and technologies afforded by the internet, software, and others could enhance and improve the online learning experience for both students and instructors. In fact, they suggested that asynchronous learning would be key.
As with any revolution or uprising though, there is a natural tendency to take on the attitude that everything has changed and “all bets are off.” revolution has brought learning networks front and center with “ Connect and Communicate ” becoming the new mantra for training organizations.
