I've always been a big believer in the value and power of informallearning. Over the past few years, I've written quite a few posts about informallearning. is one part of systematizing support for informallearning. I just saw that Josh Bersin wrote about this issue. Jay tells us.

There’s a new BigQuestion on the Learning Circuits blog and it’s about questions. It builds on a great posting by George Siemens in which he describes Questions I’m no longer asking , in other words what issues are now so cut and dried that to keep questioning them would be a waste of energy.
One can think of several reasons; you can collect data to: Generate user feedback about the learning interventions (. eg e learning modules) that you have offered. To answer the question what the purpose will be to collect and analyze this data, but there are some stepping stone questions. Where to start?

Shortly, I'll be responding to this month's BigQuestion with my Predictions for Learning in 2008. I could answer this as the biggest challenges for Learning Professionals generally, and maybe I'll come back and do that, but for now, let me just write what I see as some of my bigger challenges in 2007.
We lack the right questions. While the motivation question is certainly a bigquestion, I want to skip over this for now. What is more concerning is that I don't really think we know the right questions to be asking. What can I borrow from KM, collaborative learning, and management practices?
