Each of these talks makes me think about a bigquestion in adult learning and corporate training. The questions are: How can self-organized learning environments be used in adult learning and corporate training? Questions can be the window to great instruction, but not the other way around. I received a printed set of instructions guiding me to my final destination. I do believe that self-paced instructional e-learning is less widely applicable that many people think. Formal instruction is valuable for some of the time. When it all settles down, there will probably be as many jobs in creating instructional e-learning as there are in classroom training.

I’m going to squeak in at the last minute and answer the Learning Circuits BigQuestion for December 2008. This month’s BigQuestion asks us to reflect on our learning about learning in the last year. We still house our courses in an LMS, and we have some structural requirements to work within.
