While most of the the presentations, webinars, and podcast interviews that I do relate to scenario-based learning , I have also spoken with multiple groups about instructional design careers and freelancing. In this session, I reviewed data from multiple sources on pay in the learning and development field, for employees and freelancers.
A new trend that forms the crux of this evolution is Learning Experience Design (LXD). This approach considers the learners perspective, creating immersive, personalized learning experiences that address employee requirements. But what does an LXD do, and how do they create significant learning experiences?
That’s where Learning Experience Design (LxD) comes in. Imagine flipping the script—transforming those flat, disengaged sessions into vibrant, interactive journeys. LxD focuses on what learners need to know and also on how they feel and experience learning, creating engaging environments that drive real results.
Learning experience design has come to change that concept. Digital transformation, new generations of employees, evolving mindsets, and a future-focused approach have all prompted a shift in the traditional approach to learning and development. Here’s where learning experience design (LXD) comes in. Let’s take a look.
