Flash Course. Flash animations can be published as videos and imported in the HTML/Lectora framework. This method allows the previously developed Flash animations to be reutilized, leading to sizeable cost-savings. This tool has a very good feature (HTML5 tracker) for highlighting activities that are not supported on tablets.

I mean it is not like something is going to change in just a few weeks for any such product. Feature sets – they have to be more than PPT to Flash or add an audio clip and video clip to the course. Mobile Learning/HTML5 output – doesn’t hurt and has to be considered. Here are my criteria.

They say online courses are just slides with bulleted lists and some interactive elements to avoid looking like a basic PowerPoint (PPT). That can be true to some extent, as the roots of e-learning are in PPT. Solution : Providing courses in HTML5 format and developing them in responsive design can solve the issue.

But, organizations today need elearning content faster because of the changes in regulations. However, Rapid elearning allows content creators to create lessons in a brief period rather than spending months like in Flash based elearning. After all, HTML5 programming could not be done. Is rapid elearning good enough?

Transitions, Animations, Views – I am fine using it once, but again, new product-new version, so why I am still seeing PowerPoint within this product to such a point, that TAV are exactly the same as in PPT? Same with the flash icon. Who is still using flash, BTW? There are plenty of HTML5 object sites out there.
