Using this workflow, any changes made to the original PowerPoint presentation can be reflected in the Captivate project.   During a standard import process, PowerPoint pptx presentations are first converted to the ppt format and then converted to SWF. Choose  Window > Library.

Make the required changes and remove all unwanted slides from the presentation. To import the PPT, click File > New Project > Project from MS PowerPoint. In the Publish dialog, select the SWF/HTML5 tab (top left). Then set the output format to HTML5 (you can turn off SWF.) Import the presentation in Captivate.

is not the only product which has an issue with a 64 bit Windows computer but in combination with PPT 2010, I’m unaware of any other. Lock closed – element is locked, you cannot change it on the page. Lock unlocked - element is unlocked – can make changes. who knows, I never got to see it). Now you can edit.

Preview the project in a web browser (SWF). Find audio in the Library/Change text to Bold. Increase the indent (selected object on stage)/Change text to Italics. Show/hide the SWF-Commenting pane. Import PPT. Preview the current slide and the following “N” slides. F11 (Win), Command+F11 (Mac). Select all.

If the developer makes a change based on the feedback, he can mark the item as fixed. On the other hand if the developer does not agree that a change is required, or if he has a question about the feedback, he can type a note to that effect and send that information back to the tester. Captivate 4 will change this significantly.
