Thank You for 25 Great Years!

The first release of Snagit came in 1991, Camtasia was released in 1999, Morae in 2004, Jing in 2007, Camtasia Relay and Camtasia for Mac in 2009, Snagit on Mac in 2010, and Coach’s Eye in 2011. It’s hard to imagine a time before that. And, this past year has also proved to be momentous for us.

The new Camtasia Studio 8, the Flipped Classroom and Mobile Learning [Review]

I have been a Camtasia fan for a long time, as well as a SnagIt and Jing fan and I’m also very impressed with the work TechSmith is doing on Mobile. This is precisely where I see TechSmith bringing a lot to the table, especially with the new release of Camtasia Studio 8.

Dev Corner - What programming languages do we use?

Our newer products, like Jing, drop some of the legacy C++ code for shiny new C# and.NET. Camtasia Relay and Screencast.com are built using Web Forms while some new projects, like the Coach's Eye video player, are using ASP.NET MVC. Our web products run on Microsoft servers using ASP.NET. Cross Platform.
