Keeping and contributing regularly to a personal learning journal can be an effective way to encourage reflection and develop critical thinking skills. Instructional Design Tip: Peer Coaches Help Train. We trained some of the production staff to be “ peer coaches.” The peer coaches became a consistent point of contact for the new learners. The peer coach program also provided a way to train future supervisors by giving them elevated responsibilities.
