It’s a fact that you CAN build effective elearning with rapidelearning tools. All it requires is that you craft a sound learning strategy and get the most out of your tools. To demonstrate this, I deconstructed an effective elearning course originally built in Flash and then built a mock up in PowerPoint.
It seems that if you come from the traditional instructional design community, which means you've spent a lot of your time designing formal, interactive, self-study lessons, then rapide-learning means doing the same thing, only quicker. Now don't get me wrong, I like the tutorial format.
