I don't get a lot of time to watch TV, I don't have Tivo, but I LOVE my iPhone/ipod. The only show I watch these days is HEROES and now I can't get it onto my ipod. All I want is the feed to get it too my iPod. Can you believe this mess of a web site? What the heck was NBC thinking? The web site above is what I'm greeted with.
AirPlay lets you Stream from iPad, iPhone, iPod to AppleTV Then I had one of those lightening bolt moments when I saw the "coming soon" blurb about AirPlay which is part of iOS4.2 This is a game changer: $99 connects all iPads, iPhones, iPods in a room to one big HDTV. I like that the eLearningGuild at DevLearn has done a room full of demonstrations in the past. Demos One of the reasons for my recent Big Question - Examples of eLearning? was that it is often hard to see demonstrations of what everyone else is doing. Some are really good. Some not as good. A good idea. Something new and different.
The newest version adds an adaptive learning capability, which I saw first hand at DevLearn – it was extremely impressive and extremely rare in this space. New features include a documentary maker and iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad developer kit (awesome!). Works well in both corporate and education space. #5
As Nicole Fougere pointed out in a recent blog post , Aaron Silvers took a show of hands at DevLearn and discovered this seems to be the last thing that we require of a LMS, but if the learners cannot easily use it and dislike using it, then it is absolutely worthless, no matter how many other bells and whistles it may have.
Surely there were other schools dabbling with the idea of handing out ipods to incoming freshman, etc. In the spring of 2007, Rankin and a team of colleagues began work on the initiative that became "ACU Connected," ACU's ground-breaking iPhone and iPod touch-based mobile-learning initiative. They were IT! That's BOLD! And I LIKE THAT!

See you at DevLearn in November! Like I said in the webinar, I know I'm not the first person to think of this, and so I'd like to know why it hasn't caught on? And let's see if we can start a movement towards making Learning Campaigns part of the corporate training culture. Thanks EVERYONE! Brent 3:23 PM Cammy Bean said.
