The remote workforce has steadily been growing over the past several years and current events have only sped up the process. Think of the learning process as a journey made of many parts instead of a one-shot event. Many organizations are currently looking for ways to provide quality employee training online.

As I’ve discussed previously , learning science was an outgrowth of cognitive science. How come we remember emotionally-charged events better? It’s an interdisciplinary approach as well, integrating research on emotion and events and more. Each one of those three things, then, has a cognitive underpinning.
Before the events of this year more 4 million people were already working from home at least part of the time (1). However this year we have seen a large jump in remote teams due to recent events. This leaves more time for interactive activities and engaging discussions during the virtual instructor led training.
You can then use your subject pages to go deep into what your courses are offering students, discuss the particulars of your program, and offer up quotes from past learners. List events and provide a place for your community to connect. Again, many learners want to do their research before they sign up for a course.
With everyone running on a different schedule, group discussions will be spread out over several days, and you will need to adjust your course schedule to allow for it.
