Honestly, I’m not sure I’ve heard that very often in my career as a science educator. Yup - still pictures and video were taken for the entire 80,000+ ft climb and the 122+ Km distance the contraption traveled. When was the last time you heard kids say they did a science project outside of class time because learning is cool?
Situated about 60 km inside from the gate, any visit to Corbett would be incomplete without a stay at the Dhikala Lodge. Having stayed there, I can only say that I am immensely thankful we got to stay at Dhikala. Without Dhikala, the Corbett experience would have been very different. Disappointing perhaps. Dhikala turned it into a dream.
Transferring knowledge is just one of the phases in the process of education or formation. The next step is even more important: to train our beneficiaries on what to do with the ‘water’ educators transferred to their buckets. A knowledgeable person is not necessarily a ‘knowledge-abled person’.
