I just finished reading a blog post on Read/Write Web - eLearning2.0 - All You Need to Know. I'm a big believer in eLearning2.0 and it's interesting to R/WW's take on eLearning2.0. As you read through the post, you really don't get any sense for what eLearning2.0 is all about.

Today, I saw a post by someone suggesting ways to come up with ideas for blog post topics and they gave some examples. The examples were not all that relevant to most of the readers of this blog, but it definitely sparked a thought for me. Most of the time I learn something, I write a blog post.

Last week at ASTD TechKnowledge , I did a keynote on Work Literacy and eLearning2.0, an online Q&A Session for the Virtual Conference and a session on using Web 2.0 Tools for eLearning. For example, we still teach Cursive Writing instead of Touch Typing to kids. Work Literacy eLearning2.0
I always appreciate written comments thanks to the people who spent the time to write something. The first session was an Introduction to eLearning2.0. The slides were similar to eLearning2.0 Only 2 people said they read my blog. Once I started asking for examples, that worked well.
I did my eLearning2.0 The audience was about half very new people to training and eLearning and the rest had varying levels of experience. About half were familiar with blogs and Wikis, but very few had any experience. One really good suggestion was to break it up into two sessions: eLearning2.0
My blog is really the hub of my thinking and activity, so by going back through posts for the 2008, it gives me a pretty good perspective on what's been happening inside my head during 2008. To do my review, I first looked at what I was writing about and what people were reading on my blog in 2008.
The last post was what I've been writing this year that social signals say is good reading. For example: 24. A long, lost blog post that needs to be revisited. It was interesting to read this because when I was writing about a PLE really also supporting my work - I didn't think of it in the context of ownership of the work product.
