More specifically- Is it ready to compete with Flash for eLearning Development? The new version (IE 9) which is expected to be released sometime in 2011will support HTML5.

eLearning Development: Useful Firefox add-ons

We have found several of these add-ons to be really helpful in the eLearning development. Here I list some of them: Flash Switcher – Adobe Flash being the most commonly used development tool for Upside Learning, testing Flash content in different versions of Flash Player is a pain.
