Instead of looking at providing tightly coupled Social Learning Tools, they should instead be looking at how their offering can integrate or leverage Enterprise 2.0 This could be: SharePoint, Yammer, Confluence, etc. John Ambrose in Social Learning Will Fill Enterprise 2.0’s tools when they are first rolled out.

I was surprised by the fear and loathing expressed around SharePoint yesterday at LearnTrends 2009. I don’t think it’s the best tool out there, but it likely is the best tool being adopted by your IT department and is part of the Enterprise 2.0 My belief is that it’s going to be a big part of eLearning 2.0

Not surprising, the terms most closely associated with Adoption are Adoption of Social Software and Adoption of Enterprise 2.0. Stewart Mader points us to Sarah Denman's look at the four groups most likely to be involved in a wiki or other enterprise 2.0 Why are we not seen as a player when it comes to Wiki or Enterprise 2.0 implementations. The list is: IT HR - and no it doesn't include learning or training - it's more the compliance side of HR.
