The latter first: I finally ‘graduated’ from TwitterFox (a plugin for Firefox , and a great way to start Twittering) to TweetDeck, an AIR application. For example, Meebo is more dedicated to chat, but there’s more overhead to get hooked up (it connects all IM channels, but you’d have to be on IM).
Im a touchy-feely-people-kind-of-person. With a co.mment icon now installed on my Firefox toolbar, I just need to remember to click on it when I leave a comment on someones blog and want to track the conversation. I was using it for awhile, but had issues once I moved to Firefox. Its awesome. Cammy: Thanks for the post!

Google Alerts A nice adjunct to Google Reader; Im always discovering something new via my "instructional design" alert. 2) FireFox I made the switch from IE 6 a few months ago and I love it. Tweetdeck Im officially hooked to Twitter and use Tweetdeck to organize and group those I follow. Firefox My browser of choice. As a hint I would suggest to download and use S3Fox, a firefox plugin that allows you to upload files to an S3 bucket from within Firefox. A good solution is to use Amazons S3 service. There is info on aws.amazon.com on how to do that. A typical S3Fox screen b) Go to admin->themes->upload theme.

So for content developments sake, looking down the numbers, Id say there is an argument here for focusing on audio as a main component of phone-based content (Im going to quit saying mobile as a general term because who knows what that means anymore - PSP, iPod, cell phone, smartphone, iPhone, UMPC, or whatever). Instead of a man with no country, Im a man with three computers and three operating systems. Im serious. I can barely run Opera or Firefox with a few tabs open on an Intel Core Duo 2.16 Hey, I've got Office, can use Safari or Firefox to almost all web-based things like web-confs. The no country thing might be easier.
For now though, Im going to enjoy the weekend and get ready go to an exciting new job next week. That being said, I look forward to being able to fully concentrate on how emerging technologies, Web 2.0-ish ish things, mobile learning and game-based learning can be used to support a global workforce.
