Most people would probably assume that today socialnetworking and education are now pretty interrelated. Socialnetworking platforms are part of mainstream culture. who have internet access use socialnetworking technologies for blogging, chatting, online communities and more.
Should you be using Facebook Groups to supplement your online course? Recently one of the more common questions I have seen asked of us is whether there are any alternatives to using Facebook Groups for the community portion of an online course. Why do we use Facebook Groups for course community building?
That said, not every social media platform works the same way, and your first step in determining if it’s right for you probably involves a closer look at the options available. Here’s a quick guide through the top six socialnetworks, and how you can use them as part of your online course. Create a course group.

I don’t know about you, but recently I have seen a meteoric rise in the number of companies that are using Facebook Groups for customer community building.
