I’ve been using Midjourney to generateconsistentcharacters for almost a year now. When I first posted about the character reference feature , Midjourney was only available through Discord. That process still works, but we have some other options now with the webinterface.

For one of my recent projects, I needed to generate several illustrated character images. Each character needed both a sad and happy expression. While I could have used Midjourney’s character reference feature to generateconsistentcharacter images , I decided to try something different.
