This has come just in time for mLearning implementers; there is a new tool out in Google Labs called Swiffy that let’s one convert flash animation (swf files) to a device independent HTML5. We’ve been experiementing with Swiffy for a few hours now and it seems to do quite a decent job of converting SWF files.

But note that if you simply insert the Captivate simulation as a Flash swf file into Lectora without doing anything to limit the course navigation, then the learner can easily click right on through to the next page in the title. Once you've inserted the Captivate swf file into your Lectora title, disable the forward navigation for that page.

Alternate Web server for Video : Sometimes you need to host video on an alternate web server (other than the one which is hosting your SWF). Being able to create SCORM/AICC compliant courses that imports Flash SWF files and plays well with the LMS makes my ability to implement e-learning much easier. SnagIt - Extremely helpful when making software sims or getting screenshots for courses. Being able to add quizzes and publish SCORM/AICC compliant courses is a big plus too.
