Tuesday, March 25, 2008 Jott This Blog I havent had so much time lately to blog, as this project Im working on has been quite grueling. I find my best time for thinking up excellent blog entries is late at night when Im lying in bed. That is, of course, if Im even awake after the kids have finally fallen asleep.

Im not talking about the quantity of my friends, but rather the breadth and depth. Back to the Google Desktop -- Im playing around a bit with the searching capabilities and am seeing the light. Im struggling a bit with figuring out how to set the preferences so that it searches where I need it to search (I save most of my files to a shared network drive; not locally). Im an instructional designer with an emphasis on writing and schmoozing. For the most part, I like tools that are easy to use, easy to learn, look good, and create good-looking output.

This hasnt gotten onto my radar before -- Im not sure if there are any state-funded online programs in Massachusetts. Ive spent a lot of time in the past year thinking about ID, connecting with other training and eLearning professionals, reading books, learning about better ways of doing eLearning. In fact, its been almost two years since Ive written a storyboard and gone through the whole process.
