Hook them with a vivid image, joke, anecdote, etc. Imagine looking for a tutorial on “how to build a bird house” and ending up with a video that shows how to build a full-sized house that’s shaped like a bird. If people are going to learn they need to be paying attention. It should tie back to the instruction.
