You ARE a geek! :-) Whats lighting up my life this week is "Beyond Bullet Points" which Im using to structure the PPT that Im going to use for my webinar on time management next month. Monday, August 04, 2008 Back to Work Monday was my first day back to work after almost three months. I put in a nice five hour effort, appearing on site at our new office space. Not too bad. And this is definitely not one of those things that Im learning for the first time, but here goes: Motivation is everything! Im primed and ready. I agree--totally cool and Im not even the proud mama! Id go so far as to say that Ive reinvented myself as a learning professional. Connecting with other people creates motivation.

Im not sure I buy how much real impact any of this will have on bottom line measures. Out of both of these comments - Im coming to realize that we have to shift our mindset about measurement. Im not trying to be flip. Im pretty sure the exec team didnt need any more "proof" of value than that one sentence.
